WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

HOTEL

Lodging is covered during your stay in the program. If you are in the program for two weeks, lodging will be covered for 14 days. If you stay for one week, your stay will be covered for seven days. These prices include only lodging no phone calls, not laundry service, or service to the room, nothing else besides lodging.

 

FOOD

Food will be covered during working days (typically weekdays) while you remain with the group.

On the weekends, food will be provided if you have your meals at the hotel.

 

TRANSPORTATION

This includes picking you up from the airport on the first day of the program and taking you to the airport at the end of the program.

All transportation between the hotel and Camp Hope is included.

 

PROJECT

This portion of the fee will cover expenses associated with the projects in which you'll participate. Examples include painting supplies, carpentry supplies, medicine or costs for basic lab tests (if you're participating is a medical group), construction materials, therapy supplies, food for Camp Hope children, specific equipment for Camp Hope to serve the children better, etc.

 

 

For tax deduction purposes we have the practice of providing our volunteers  with a letter in English  from our organization in which we explain all of the necessary expenses to participate in the service program (except expenses for  free time activities).
