The hotel is  a nice modern building,  located in Quito, 1.2 km from La Carolina Park and El Jardín mall, in a safe area of the city.

The rooms have a flat-screen TV, desk, safety box, fan and private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and toiletries. There are also connecting rooms available.

Also, it has a restaurant, daily breakfast, and has a solarium, terrace, library, banquet rooms, meeting facilities and 24-hour reception with English speaking workers.

In addition, free WiFi and private parking are provided.

The Carolina Park is located about four blocks from the hotel. In this park you can run in the morning if you would like to, it is safe. The park has pedal boats, horseback riding, soccer, basketball, bicycling, along with two museums. The botanical and reptile museums can be viewed for a small fee and are very interesting. The park is safe until about five o’clock in the afternoon at which time it becomes empty and dark.

The mall located near the park is a very good place for resources. You can buy anything you need. They have ATM machines on each floor, a supermarket, a pharmacy, and many stores that you will enjoy. There is also a bookstore on the top floor that carries the English-language international Miami Herald, which many volunteers enjoy purchasing. 

Also, about a block from the mall is an internet café. It is on the corner on the way to the mall. There are approximately 20 computers.
